Making Learning Visible
The Upper Kindergarten had a music and movement session where they sang songs about animals. Kush wanted to sign a song about dinosaurs. He sang the following song. Bhuwan said “i also like dinosaurs”. Ronav said “i also like dinosaurs” and Marcela said that she has dinosaur toys. Very soon there was a discussion about dinosaurs. The teacher followed the interest expressed by the children and dug out some pictures of dinosaurs. Some of the children knew some dinosaur names, but others did not. They looked at pictures of dinosaurs and wanted to draw, colour and paint the dinosaurs of their choice.
